Pure Creative Group Office

The conversion of a warehouse into the new Pure Creative headquarters. The building provided the canvas for the space with its polished concrete floors, painted white concrete ceilings and large warehouse style windows. We simply needed to fit it out with our opulent style. This can be seen in details such as the vibrant red gloss file drawers, red cowhide rug beneath the stark white table and the distressed oversized workbench, which is used as the main meeting table.

The main meeting room and heart of the office can be viewed behind a 3.5 meter long black fringe curtain edged with laser cut decorative screens that frame the entrance into the office. This was important, as it is the first point of interaction for clients and gives an immediate sense of who we are and what we provide as a service.

Bistro Verde

The brief was driven by the fact that the client needed a space for busy lunch times that would service the large surrounding Optus complex, as well as have the ability to turn into a bar/venue at night.

This combined, we opted to keep the overall space open so the areas could flow and interact with each other during busy meal times but have distinct pods within the main space for other times of the day or night. We created this separation with the use of aesthetics, furniture styles and bulkheads above.

Finally the interior finishes such as, the natural timbers and grass weave paper lights reflect the outdoors and surrounding landscaping of the campus and assist in merging the large outdoor seating and BBQ area with the internal dining.

Le Bourjois Day Spa

Located in Campbelltown mall is the new look prototype Day Spa for Le Bourjois. One of 2 shops owned by the client. The brief was to create a new image by re-branding the existing businesses look. As the Spa is within a shopping centre it was important to create an invigorating yet quiet space for the cliental to relax in as they received the wide variety of treatments on offer.

The open and well-lit reception/retail area draws in new cliental and provides the perfect space to have your nails done. Whilst behind the scenes, the treatment rooms are dark and moody creating the ideal environment to melt away any stress.

Figure It Out Office

The new office space for accountancy firm Figure It Out is in a Victorian shop fronted terrace situated in Balmain. It is the ground floor level on the main street front.

The design responds to both the heritage constraints of the building and the modern outgoing nature of the client. We achieved this eclectic feel with elements such as the modern curved lime reception desk and the contrasting original Japan black floorboards throughout. It was also important to tie the geographical location into the interior; we did this by way of using natural sandstone for the main wall, which displays the signage.

Overall, creating a practical and functional office with a sense of area, building and client.
